Job Summary

• The Senior QA Engineer will be actively involved in designing, developing, and executing thorough test plans to ensure software product quality and reliability.
• This role necessitates possessing strong technical skills, keen analytical abilities, and a proactive stance in identifying defects and enhancing test processes.
• Working collaboratively with development, product, and operations teams, the Senior QA Engineer will champion quality assurance best practices and promote continuous integration and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, implement, and manage detailed test cases, test scripts, and automation frameworks for functional and regression testing.
• Lead the testing of complex features and essential product components to maintain high performance and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to establish precise quality standards and testing requirements.
• Analyze requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to devise effective test strategies and plans.
• Identify, record, and monitor defects using test management tools and advocate for prompt resolution with the development team.
• Develop and sustain automated test scripts and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing and process enhancements within the QA team.
• Keep abreast of emerging QA technologies, tools, and trends, integrating best practices into testing procedures.
• Clearly communicate test outcomes, risks, and quality status to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Possess over 5 years of proven experience in software quality assurance, with substantial exposure to various testing methodologies.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in test automation tools and scripting languages such as Selenium, Appium, JMeter, Python, Java.
• Have experience in API testing (REST, WebSocket) and a familiarity with blockchain or fintech environments is advantageous.
• Exhibit solid understanding of agile development processes, CI/CD workflows.
• Display strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
• Showcase the ability to excel in an English-speaking, collaborative work atmosphere.
• Illustrate expertise in adopting and utilizing AI-powered tools to streamline work processes, with an ongoing learning mindset and an interest in emergent AI technologies.
