Token Metrics is searching for a highly skilled Senior Software Architect to direct the progression of our analytics platform and trading bot. This pivotal position will play a crucial role in expanding our infrastructure to cater to a global user base of millions, ensuring top-notch performance, dependability, and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate Token Metrics’ existing architecture thoroughly, pinpointing areas that could benefit from enhancement and optimization.
- Devise and supervise the execution of scalable solutions to accommodate millions of users worldwide.
- Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
- Offer technical guidance and guidance to the development team.
- Keep up to date with the latest technologies and industry trends, proposing innovative solutions.
- Ensure the security and dependability of Token Metrics’ platforms at scale.
- Create and sustain architectural documentation and standards.
- Deploy strategies to significantly diminish the occurrence of glitches on our platform.
- Improve the quality assurance process to elevate the reliability of our engineering outputs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Over 10 years of experience in software development, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior architectural position.
- Profound knowledge of system design and architectural principles.
- Demonstrated expertise in upscaling applications to accommodate millions of users.
- Thorough understanding of OLAP and OLTP databases, specifically Snowflake.
- Proficiency in contemporary web technologies and frameworks, such as Next.js, Supabase, Tailwind, and Shadcn.
- Robust background in cloud computing and distributed systems.
- Relevant certifications like Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.
- Outstanding problem-solving abilities and a knack for strategic thinking.
- Excellent communication skills and aptitude for conveying complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
- Substantial experience in implementing strategies to reduce bugs and enhance software quality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in the cryptocurrency or fintech sector.
- Familiarity with blockchain technologies and decentralized applications.
- Knowledge in machine learning and artificial intelligence, specifically pertaining to trading algorithms.
- Proven track record of successful large-scale system migrations.
- Contributions to open-source projects or published technical articles.
