Overview

Requirements

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Design and establish robust, scalable, and reliable real-time pipelines for ingesting blockchain data into cloud-native databases.

Enhance Ava Labs’ products and decision-making processes by optimizing existing data sets.

Collaborate with other engineers to identify requisite data for business and engineering projects, and develop scalable solutions for processing and ingesting the data.

Maintaining best practices for managing and accessing cloud-native databases and data warehouses in coordination with the team.

Work closely with backend engineers to enhance the Avalanche Explorer, Core Wallets, and other data-intensive applications.

Partner with product teams to design systems for gaining insights from on-chain data.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent field.

2-3+ years of practical experience in data engineering.

Proven track record of building cloud-native, high-throughput data processing systems.

Strong background in working with SQL/NoSQL databases.

Familiarity with containerization concepts, including Docker and Kubernetes.

Understanding of blockchain data structures (EVM, UTXO, etc.) is essential.

Experience with Spark and Golang is desirable.

Previous work with Kafka or similar data streaming services is advantageous.
