About the Role:
As a member of the CDI Engineering team, you will be a Senior Software Engineer responsible for designing, building, and testing new features on the Core Platform. Collaboration with Engineering, Governance, Product, and Sales teams will be key to delivering on the technical roadmap and ensuring high performance and scalability of our backend services. As CDI's products are critical for informing investment strategies, platform security and reliability are of utmost importance.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and implement new backend features using Python or NodeJS.
- Collaborate with Product, Governance, and Sales teams to deliver on the product roadmap.

- Work with software architects and technical leads to ensure scalability and reliability in decision making.
- Build infrastructure components that optimize developer experience and platform performance.

About You:
- At least 6 years of software engineering experience working on distributed systems at scale.
- Proficiency and demonstrated experience in Python (required), and experience with Java and/or C++ is a plus.
- Expertise in Object-Oriented principles and other software design paradigms.
- Knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with cloud-based development using ECS and Lambda.
- Experience with third-party tools such as Kafka and Redis.
- Understanding of web services and API layers, specifically REST/JSON.
- Proficiency in using build and development tools like Docker and Git.
- Bonus points for familiarity with modern front-end technologies and frameworks like React/NextJs.

UTOPOS is building a decentralized ecosystem that connects blockchain technology with commerce, gaming, sports, payments, and future smart city development. UTOP is the ecosystem's native digital currency, designed for use across multiple products and services.
We are expanding globally and are looking for motivated Business Development & Marketing Representatives to help grow the UTOPOS ecosystem.
Responsibilities
Promote awareness of the UTOPOS ecosystem.
Introduce individuals, communities, and businesses to UTOP.
Build relationships with blockchain communities, influencers, and strategic partners.
Generate qualified leads for partnerships and business opportunities.
Identify merchant adoption opportunities.
Assist with community growth across social media and Web3 platforms.
Represent UTOPOS professionally in online and offline communities.
Compensation
This is a commission-based opportunity.
Representatives earn commissions in UTOP based on qualified business generated for the UTOPOS ecosystem. Commission terms will be provided during onboarding and are paid only after qualifying milestones have been successfully completed.
Top performers may be offered long-term positions and leadership opportunities as UTOPOS expands globally.
Qualifications
Experience in marketing, sales, or business development.
Interest in blockchain, cryptocurrency, or Web3.
Strong communication skills.
Self-motivated and results-oriented.
Ability to work independently.
Existing crypto or business network is a plus but not required.
