The Partner Account Management team plays a pivotal role by directly engaging with event sponsors throughout the event cycle. This team ensures seamless coordination with sponsor representatives to meet all pre- and post-event commitments within agreed timelines. Success in this position requires strong communication, organization, and attention to detail, fostering solid partnerships internally and externally.
The role is based in the NYC office near Union Square, with the number of required days per week subject to business needs.
What You’ll Do
Create and manage timelines to ensure timely submission of all sponsor deliverables.
Oversee Sponsor-related Event Management System deliverables and Partner Portal setup for CoinDesk events.
Develop sponsor onboarding documents, including guides and communication materials.
Assist in custom executions and activations for sponsors.
Act as a resource and lead for subsequent Account Managers in the event timeline.
Onboard and manage sponsors for activations and exhibits across all CoinDesk Events.
Prepare weekly sponsor bulletins leading up to Consensus and address sponsor inquiries promptly.

The Opportunity:
CoinDesk Indices is seeking entrepreneurial sales professionals with expertise in indices and data to pioneer and drive commercial activities in the UK and European markets. This role presents an exciting opportunity to expand the index business in a region experiencing rapid growth and innovation, establishing a strong presence in a dynamic asset category that is reshaping the financial industry. Ideal candidates will possess in-depth knowledge of indices, understand how data influences financial decisions, and have a track record of building strong client relationships.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement sales strategies to drive global expansion and establish CDI's products as the preferred Pricing Indices for Digital Assets among both traditional finance and crypto-native institutional clients.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities by cultivating relationships within the UK and European crypto-financial sectors such as asset managers, trading firms, hedge funds, banks, exchanges, and data vendors.
Build a strong network and reputation to promote long-term adoption of CDI products by new and existing clients.
Provide advisory support to clients, internal teams, and engineering groups to gather feedback and enhance product offerings.
Stay current on market trends and industry developments, sharing knowledge with prospects and clients to build trust.
Conduct competitive analyses and offer insights for strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with Index Product & Sales Leadership to translate feedback into effective marketing strategies.
Work with marketing teams to develop new initiatives and materials to support sales efforts.
Focus on achieving and exceeding team revenue targets.
Maintain accurate sales activity data in Salesforce and generate reports to drive pipeline growth.
Attend conferences and client meetings virtually or in person as necessary.
Requirements:
Minimum of 7 years of sales and relationship management experience in the financial sector.
Strong knowledge and enthusiasm for the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry.
Proven ability to achieve business objectives, manage relationships effectively, and drive brand growth.
Established industry relationships in the UK and European regions.
Proficient in client relationship management with effective planning and communication skills.
Collaborative team player with self-accountability and proactive communication skills.
