Job Summary

We are seeking an entry-level sales professional to join our Global Partnerships team to support various stages of the business deal lifecycle as well as spearhead the generation of new business prospects. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving revenue growth and achieving business objectives by being proactive, efficient, and results-oriented. Essential attributes include outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills, a customer-focused mentality, and a commitment to surpassing sales targets.

Applicants will be directly accountable to the Managing Director, Partnerships based in New York and will work in the NYC office 2-3 days weekly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Partnerships team across all stages of the deal lifecycle to advance business development initiatives.
  • Engage directly with clients to address queries, expedite negotiations, and facilitate progress.
  • Generate lead opportunities for the Partnerships team by engaging targeted accounts and identifying new business potentials.
  • Evaluate the competitive landscape, pinpoint new business targets, and pursue them.
  • Aid the Partnerships and Digital & Event Operations teams in client communication, agreement execution, deal maintenance, reporting, and internal deal progression.
  • Monitor revenue, oversee digital media and events inventory, and share valuable insights gleaned from competitive analysis and industry trends.
  • Uphold data accuracy in Salesforce and other sales activity and pipeline reporting systems.

Qualifications

  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate across a diverse global team; prior experience in client-facing sales is advantageous.
  • Keenness to learn about media, events, and client portfolios through self-guided education and team knowledge-sharing.
  • Deep interest and knowledge of the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry.
  • Proven ownership of role responsibilities through self-accountability and effective communication.
  • A results-driven approach with a focus on exceeding revenue targets.
  • Intrinsic motivation to excel and contribute to maximizing team efficiency through problem-solving and productivity.
  • Excellent organizational capabilities to ensure delivery against set objectives.
  • Proficiency in tools like Excel, PowerPoint, Slack, G Suite, LinkedIn; experience with Salesforce or similar CRMs is a plus.
