CoinDesk Indices (CDI), as part of CoinDesk, has been the primary provider of digital asset indices by Assets Under Management (AUM) since 2014. Position Overview:

This role is instrumental in driving and supporting day-to-day commercial activities for the CoinDesk Indices Sales team. Collaborating closely with CDI leadership and various teams across the organization, you will help establish our products as the preferred digital asset benchmarks trusted by both traditional finance and crypto-focused institutional clients.

We seek a candidate with a background in indices and an understanding of how index data influences decision-making within financial institutions, coupled with prior experience supporting sales teams in financial services or the crypto industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Product and Sales teams in all stages of deal development to propel business growth initiatives.
  • Partner with Product and Sales Leadership to refine go-to-market strategies and messaging based on client feedback.
  • Engage directly with clients to address queries efficiently.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and prioritize feedback on our products.
  • Aid the Sales team in client meetings, agreement execution, deal maintenance, and internal deal progress.
  • Track revenue streams and identify new business prospects.
  • Conduct competitive landscape assessments and compile regular analyses for executive evaluation.
  • Share competitive insights and industry trend updates with colleagues.
  • Work with marketing teams on new go-to-market strategies and promotional materials.
  • Drive to achieve or exceed team revenue targets.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity data and pipeline metrics in Salesforce.
  • Develop sales intelligence and provide ongoing enhancements for pipeline generation.
  • Attend conferences and client meetings, traveling as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in finance.
  • Strong knowledge and interest in the cryptocurrency and blockchain industries.
  • Results-oriented with a proven track record in meeting brand and business objectives and managing relationships.
  • Proficient in client relationship management and adept at planning and executing activities autonomously.
  • Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.

CoinDesk Inc. and CoinDesk Indices Inc. offer competitive compensation and benefits, with a salary range of $120,000 - $140,000 annually plus bonus and benefits.
