Senior Software Security Engineer

As part of the Donjon team at Ledger, you will play a crucial role as a senior security engineer by continually testing and enhancing the security of Ledger's hardware wallets and ecosystem.

Your Responsibilities:

• Research state-of-the-art offensive security techniques and develop tools to test and fortify our products.
• Conduct security reviews on new products and features released by Ledger.
• Engage in security research on various products within the cryptocurrency industry.
• Advocate for secure coding practices within the engineering teams.
• Present findings in academic and hacking conferences worldwide.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in security, with embedded security knowledge as a bonus.
• Proficiency in applied cryptography.
• Understanding of financial services fundamentals.
• Self-motivated with the ability to adapt to a dynamic security landscape.

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in C and Python, particularly in secure programming.
• Knowledge of reverse engineering and binary analysis.
• Understanding of exploitation techniques and associated mitigations.
• Familiarity with static analysis tools and the development of security automation tools.
• Ability to design secure architectures.
• Proficiency in Rust and Scala is advantageous.
• Experience with Hardware Security Modules (HSM) is a bonus.
