Ledger has devised Ledger Live, a comprehensive application designed to manage all blockchain-backed assets. The application, developed using React.js for both Desktop and Mobile platforms, supports various blockchains, cryptocurrencies, and NFTs. It integrates DApps and offers an SDK for third-party integration, all backed by our hardware wallets that Ledger Live seamlessly manages. The development of this application involves multiple teams, each focusing on specific software components.
In order to expand sustainably, we are in search of a talented Staff Front-End Engineer to join our Wallet Experience business unit. As part of the Live Hub squad, you will specialize in building and maintaining the user interface (UI) flows for portfolio and account management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical aspect of desktop and mobile development for Ledger Live Applications.
- Collaborate closely with developers, QA specialists, designers, and product teams within Ledger Live.
- Proactively propose technical solutions and implement features using industry best practices for testing.
- Engage in code reviews and ensure the quality of Ledger's UI/UX framework.
- Mentor team members, fostering technical growth, and maintaining high standards within the team.
- Engage exclusively on Open Source projects located in our shared repository.
- Share knowledge within Ledger and the broader community.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of software development experience as an Engineer.
- Demonstrated curiosity and a positive attitude conducive to collaborative teamwork.
- Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Strong background in React.js development, tools, and libraries.
- Knowledgeable about testing strategies and industry UI/UX practices.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with React Native and Electron.
- Familiarity with Web3 concepts and technical stacks.
- Background in maintaining a library of shared components.
