About the Opportunity

As a valuable addition to our Legal and Compliance Division, you will be entrusted with crafting detailed due diligence reports on tokens from diverse ecosystems up for potential listing on our global exchanges. Your responsibilities will include conducting screenings for politically exposed individuals and sanctions, scrutinizing smart contracts, evaluating decentralization levels, analyzing token economics, utilizing block explorers, examining wallet addresses, and providing technical insights to support our Legal, Risk, and Listing teams. This pivotal role allows you to influence the future trajectory of the research team and play a critical role in safeguarding our customers.

Responsibilities

• Undertake comprehensive research and analysis to compile substantial due diligence reports for the Legal and Compliance Division.
• Dive deep into network node and market data, interrogate smart contracts, pinpoint vulnerabilities, and meticulously assess token economics.
• Establish frameworks and procedures to stay proactive in tracking ecosystem and protocol changes, such as new governance proposals and node client upgrades.
• Independently manage and respond to research requests while offering recommendations to senior management.
• Act as a knowledge hub for the organization, collaborating with teams to provide training and enhance oversight.
• Offer advisory services to different business sectors on analytical, quantitative, and qualitative challenges.

Qualifications

• Possess a Bachelor's degree with a noteworthy academic background.
• Previous experience in a similar technical role like developer, analyst, data scientist, or researcher.
• Proficient in digital assets, blockchain tech, smart contracts, decentralized apps, governance models, and industry trends.
• Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills with a flair for intricate problem-solving and articulate communication.
• Demonstrated prowess in market research, data analysis, and report writing, preferably within the blockchain or tech domains.
• Sharp attention to detail, strong work ethic, ability to deliver promptly and maintain high standards, plus a passion for knowledge sharing.
• Eagerness for on-chain research ventures.
• Proficiency in building smart contracts, web scraping, API-driven data extraction, UI development, and utilizing blockchain data providers.
• Competency in languages like Python, Solidity, SQL, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
