Scope of the Role:

Role and Responsibilities:
- Ensure optimal uptime for production trading systems through real-time monitoring.
- Provide expert-level 2 and 3 support for complex technical issues on various platforms and products, ensuring timely resolution and client satisfaction.
- Develop specialization in trading environment knowledge and effectively coordinate with cross-functional teams to address system issues.
- Continuously monitor application alerts to maintain optimal system performance.
- Create and maintain precise internal documentation for troubleshooting processes, common issues, and their solutions.
- Offer guidance and training to junior support engineers with regular handover calls to teams across multiple offices.
- Lead incident response efforts, including investigation, documentation, and communication.
- Execute weekly support duties checklists.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a technical application support role within a trading firm, preferably in cryptocurrency, FX, or equities.
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to take ownership of problems until resolution, with good problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of financial products, trading system architecture, and risk/compliance principles.
- Proficiency in reading code and developing scripts for automation and analysis.
- Willingness to contribute to setting up a long-term support model within the team.
- Availability for phone or remote support outside of regular office hours when needed.
- Openness to working shift hours, if required.
- Interest in monitoring, alerting, and reporting initiatives.
- Enthusiastic about assisting individuals with varying technical aptitude.
- Experience with Apple MacBooks and Linux technologies.
