Senior Treasury Associate (Crypto)

Responsibilities

• Plan and establish risk frameworks for managing liquidity, asset-liability, operational, and compliance risks in the realm of crypto treasury management.
• Assess daily treasury reports to analyze digital asset holdings, liquidity status, and capital movements.
• Supervise crypto liquidity across exchanges, custodial wallets, and decentralized protocols.
• Develop and manage a risk monitoring system, incorporating dashboards to identify and address potential issues promptly.
• Contribute insights to liquidity planning and capital allocation strategies, enhancing funding approaches.
• Provide regular risk updates to senior management and escalate any critical concerns.
• Ensure adherence to digital asset regulations across different jurisdictions during risk management processes.
• Collaborate with technology teams to optimize and automate risk reporting workflows.
• Monitor performance of investment portfolios, including DeFi staking and Liquidity Pool risk-return analyses.
• Assist in reconciling crypto transactions and maintaining financial statement balances.
• Verify transaction accuracy across wallets, smart contracts, and internal systems.
• Improve and streamline operational processes.
• Engage closely with internal and external stakeholders to supervise treasury operations.

Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in disciplines like Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar fields.
• Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in risk management, treasury, or balance sheet oversight within financial institutions or fintech firms.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and creative thinking abilities.
• Thorough understanding of various risks associated with crypto assets and related compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on optimizing operational workflows.
• Proficient in analyzing financial and blockchain transaction data with precision.
• Familiarity with blockchain protocols, liquidity pools, staking, and consensus mechanisms.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of data extraction tools like SQL and BI Tools would be advantageous.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working across Finance, Risk, Operations, and Compliance teams.
