We seek a Senior UI/UX Designer proficient in gaming and blockchain to create user-centric interfaces and seamless experiences for our cutting-edge platform. The ideal candidate must possess a meticulous attention to detail, a dedication to user-focused design, and the capacity to innovatively tackle intricate design challenges. In addition, you will partake in design assessments, usability trials, and refine designs based on feedback to deliver an optimal user experience.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design intuitive, player-friendly user interfaces for gaming and blockchain components to ensure a smooth user journey.
• Conduct user research and usability evaluations to comprehend player behavior, pain points, and enhancement opportunities.
• Simplify complex blockchain systems (e.g., tokenomics, NFTs, wallets) into visually appealing and easily digestible interfaces.
• Generate wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for various features like marketplaces, dashboards, game menus, and onboarding procedures.
• Collaborate closely with game designers and developers to validate the practicality of design solutions.
• Work in conjunction with cross-functional teams—including product managers, game designers, blockchain developers, and marketing—to align design with business objectives.
• Promote design best practices and user-centric strategies throughout the organization.
• Produce UI/UX designs for significant facets like NFT marketplaces, wallet integrations, land management tools, and creator platforms.
• Guarantee seamless integration of Web3 functionalities (e.g., transactions, token swaps) without compromising the gaming experience.
• Create visually captivating designs that resonate with Seedworld’s style and brand identity.
• Participate in crafting and upholding a comprehensive design system for consistent user experience across platforms.
• Analyze performance metrics and player feedback to continuously enhance UI/UX designs.
• Remain informed about the latest trends, tools, and technologies in gaming and blockchain to stimulate innovation.

Qualifications

Experience:

• Possess 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a focus on gaming and/or blockchain applications.
• Demonstrate a proven track record in designing for complex systems like multiplayer games, marketplaces, or Web3 platforms.
• Have familiarity with Google's Material Design standards and responsive design principles.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Skills:

• Proficient in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Thorough understanding of user-centered design principles, usability testing, and information architecture.
• Understanding of blockchain concepts like NFTs, wallets, tokenomics, and smart contracts.
• Sound knowledge of game design and player psychology in online multiplayer or UGC-oriented games.

Collaboration:

• Capable of working collaboratively in a cross-functional team and communicating design concepts clearly.
• Able to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects concurrently.

Location

100% remote role. Flexible timezone, with work hours falling between 9AM and 10PM (UTC time).
