Summary
We are in search of a skilled server side engineer to contribute to the enhancement of our Brave Premium infrastructure. The ideal candidate shall champion the enhancement of resilience and dependability within the Brave Premium backend system. We seek an individual who can deliver high-impact results, prioritizing simplicity in solution design and executed end-to-end solutions.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Go, JavaScript/TypeScript
- Proficiency in SQL, Postgres, Redis, and similar data storage technologies
- Proficient in constructing durable API endpoints
- Skilled in AWS utilization and deployment of scalable production systems
- Proficient in implementing monitoring solutions like Prometheus, Zabbix, Pingdom, etc.
- Adherence to 24x7 system uptime standards and openness to participate in pager duty rotations
- Experience collaborating with distributed development teams
- Comfort with working within an open-source environment
- Enthusiasm for promoting user privacy and security
- Effective English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven track record of project completion
Bonus Points:
- Familiarity with Rust
- Exposure to Ruby on Rails
- Familiarity with payment systems such as Stripe APIs
- Knowledge of subscriptions and APIs for the App Store and Play Store
- Awareness of cryptocurrencies, particularly Ethereum/Solana

United States Candidates: The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $180,000 USD, based on experience.
