Job Responsibilities:

As a Service Manager at our company, your main aim is to enhance our operational systems by aligning services with strategic business goals. You will set up a service-based operating model to optimize cloud capabilities and drive continuous service improvement initiatives. Your emphasis will be on minimizing incidents, downtimes, and disruptions while striving for operational excellence through various technical, procedural, cultural, and organizational enhancements.

Key Duties:

  • Implement Service Management procedures and drive change management and service transition initiatives.
  • Measure and enhance the overall performance of assigned services against agreed-upon Service Level Agreements and business objectives.
  • Coordinate incident resolutions and lead teams to quickly rectify critical bugs.
  • Participate in on-call duty rotations for services under your responsibility.
  • Conduct regular service review meetings with stakeholders, engineering, and product teams, reporting on issues and continuous improvement efforts to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Holding an MSc or BSc in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
  • Displaying a proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to lead and guide teams, particularly in ambiguous situations.
  • Capable of contributing to the professional growth of service managers and software engineers.
  • Proficient in ITIL Service Management principles and skilled at building collaborative relationships across various departments.
