Software Engineer - Governance

Job Summary:

An opportunity at Dfinity awaits for a dynamic Software Engineer to join their forward-thinking team. As a crucial team member, you will play a significant role in the development of advanced, decentralized governance systems (DAOs) for the Internet Computer. This position caters to engineers who are passionate about cutting-edge technology and are eager to contribute to the decentralized network space.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute decentralized governance systems for the Internet Computer by leveraging state-of-the-art technologies.
• Collaborate closely with DFINITY's development and research teams, as well as the broader ICP community, to enhance governance systems.
• Design, code, and optimize endpoints for different clients integrating with the governance systems.
• Enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Contribute to innovative solutions for large-scale distributed systems projects and governance tools.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Proficiency in systems software languages like C, C++, or Rust. Training opportunities available if Rust is a skill set you wish to develop.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams to ensure seamless integration with governance systems.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience working with large-scale distributed systems.
• Familiarity with Cryptocurrency and Blockchain technologies.

Note:

This position mandates in-office work at the Zurich office for 3 days per week.
