Description
Our client, a prominent developer of body motion video games for their proprietary device, is in search of a Machine Learning Engineer to join their innovative engineering team. This role focuses on cutting-edge technology at the intersection of research and practical systems, particularly in the development of indoor motion tracking technology utilizing consumer-grade hardware.
The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting and constructing essential infrastructure to expedite machine learning workflows and model development processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deploy training pipelines, automated data workflows, and integration tools that can efficiently cater to research requirements.
- Establish systems for large-scale data collection, preprocessing, and curation to facilitate extensive experimentation.
- Develop tools that enhance the efficiency of experiment cycles, decrease turnaround time, and facilitate smoother model progression to deployment.
- Collaborate closely with machine learning researchers to resolve technical challenges and enhance the development experience.
- Assist in managing model serving pipelines and integrate machine learning components with wider platform systems.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in constructing production-level machine learning systems, data infrastructure, or research platforms.
- Profound practical knowledge of Python and proficiency in at least one systems language like C++, Go, Rust, or Java.
- Previous experience working with PyTorch or TensorFlow in production or research settings.
- Demonstrated expertise in creating machine learning training pipelines, data workflows, and integration tools.
- Knowledge of model deployment and inference optimization, specifically MLOps patterns.
Desired Skills:
- Exposure to GPU-accelerated computing, distributed training systems, data versioning, or experiment tracking tools.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Contributions to open-source machine learning projects.
