Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive Data Analytics team member to play a pivotal role in guiding data-informed decision-making for our product and content teams. Your role will entail a diverse range of tasks, from delving into raw data to uncover opportunities to collaborating on data projects, and providing valuable data assets such as analysis, reports, and metrics to cultivate a data-driven culture.

Responsibilities

Data Transformation and Modeling:

• Utilize DBT to convert, cleanse, and structure raw data into usable datasets for analysis purposes.
• Create and maintain data models to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.

Data Quality and Governance:

• Implement data validation processes to uphold data accuracy and integrity.
• Work with data stakeholders to institute data governance best practices.

Data Analytics:

• Define key metrics and KPIs for new features and products in collaboration with the product team.
• Apply advanced analytics to enhance user experience and identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop data solutions using cutting-edge technology based on behavioral analytics.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and Business Analysts to determine data reporting and analysis requirements.

Technical Skills

• Demonstrated experience in Data Analytics, Data Science, Data Engineering, or similar fields.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with database systems.
• Strong Python skills.
• Familiarity with tools like Snowflake, dbt, Metabase, or similar platforms.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a steadfast commitment to data quality.

Requirements

• 2+ years in Analytics Engineering, Data Analysis, or related roles with a track record of delivering successful data solutions.
• Proactive and adaptable mindset in navigating challenges within a unique platform like Decentraland.
• Customer-focused approach aligned with business and product goals.
• Collaboration mindset with strong communication skills within cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work harmoniously in a team and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
