Role Overview
The Staff DevOps Engineer at Figure Technology Solutions will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and expanding the cloud infrastructure and engineer-centric platform tools. The role requires a curious, innovative, and collaborative team player to support the company's consumer products that are reshaping the financial services landscape.
Responsibilities
- Enhance the experience for engineers by implementing new features on internal platforms.
- Identify and address process improvement opportunities proactively.
- Develop innovative technical solutions while following iterative practices.
- Lead projects across teams.
- Utilize technical skills to solve practical challenges.
- Mentor junior engineers.
- Participate in a team on-call rotation.
Requirements
- 4-5 years of experience in DevOps/SRE/development within an agile setting.
- Proficiency in DevOps best practices and complex issue troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated project management capabilities encompassing concept to release phases.
- Experience with cloud computing providers like GCP or AWS.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Kubernetes Operators, and modern API Gateways such as Kong or NGINX.
- Proficient in Go for contributing to internal tool development.
- Skill in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or OpenTofu and automation with Atlantis or similar solutions.
- Extensive experience with scaling CI/CD platforms including Github Actions and ArgoCD.
- Experience in maintaining high availability and high traffic production web environments.
- Strong team player who enjoys collaborating with others.

- For CO, NY, CA, and WA residents, the salary range is $138,160 - 172,700/year with up to a 25% Bonus and Equity. Actual compensation may vary based on individual candidate experience and location.
