Ledger has introduced Ledger Live, an application designed for managing blockchain-based assets. Developed using React.js technology, this application avails support for multiple blockchains, including coins and NFTs. Additionally, it facilitates integration with DApps and offers an SDK for seamless collaboration with third parties. The interface, backed by our hardware wallets, allows users to efficiently manage their crypto assets. Various dedicated teams collaboratively work on distinct aspects of this software application.
In line with our ambitious growth plans, we are seeking a Staff Front-End Engineer to join the Wallet Experience business unit. Operating within the Live Hub squad, your central responsibilities will revolve around constructing and upkeeping the UI flows for portfolio and account management.
Main Responsibilities:
- Embrace full ownership of desktop and mobile Ledger Live Applications development from a technical viewpoint.
- Engage in active collaboration with developers, QA specialists, designers, and product professionals within the Ledger Live teams.
- Demonstrate initiative by proposing and implementing technical solutions.
- Develop features employing best practices encompassing unit to end-to-end testing methodologies.
- Participate in conducting thorough code reviews.
- Uphold the quality standards of Ledger's UI/UX framework.
- Foster mentorship opportunities and drive technological progress within the team, ensuring the establishment of high standards.
- Devote your efforts entirely to Open Source projects accessible through our monorepo.
Required Skills:
- A seasoned software development professional with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- A naturally inquisitive mindset coupled with a positive attitude conducive to team collaboration.
- Strong competence in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Proficiency in [React.js] development, along with a knack for navigating development tools and libraries.
- Sound understanding of effective testing strategies.
- Good knowledge of UI/UX practices intertwined with software development.
Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with React Native and Electron.
- Exposure to Web3 topics and technical stack.
- Prior experience managing a repository of shared components.
