Description
We are seeking a creative and experienced individual to join our team as a Staff Front-End Engineer at our innovative and forward-thinking organization - Ledger. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional user experiences, possess a keen eye for detail, and have a solid background in front-end development, we would love for you to be a part of our team.
Your Role:
- Lead the technical development of Ledger Live applications on both desktop and mobile platforms.
- Collaborate closely with our design team to bring designs and prototypes to life, creating user interfaces that are not only functional but visually engaging.
- Develop and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure the reliability and performance of our applications.
- Participate actively in code reviews to uphold coding standards and best practices.
- Ensure the quality and consistency of Ledger’s UI/UX framework.
- Provide mentorship within the team, fostering technical growth among team members and upholding high standards.
- Contribute to open-source projects within our monorepo, ledger-live.
- Share knowledge and expertise within Ledger and the broader community.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Extensive knowledge of Web APIs, CSS features, and browser support.
- Experience working with React and TypeScript.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and design tools such as Figma.
- Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices (a11y).
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Experience with React Native and/or Electron.
- Knowledge of Web3 concepts.
- Previous experience managing a library of shared components.
