Responsibilities:

As a Staff Software Engineer at Circle, your role involves expanding and enhancing the company’s blockchain infrastructure to enable global tokenization. This encompasses analyzing and improving existing systems, constructing and managing scalable microservices for secure API transfers within blockchain and traditional banking networks, and collaborating with Product and Engineering teams in feature design and testing. Your responsibilities also include troubleshooting malfunctions, building developer-friendly APIs for payment integrations, and ensuring seamless connection with financial institutions.

Requirements:

To excel at Circle, you should possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in software development, proficiency in object-oriented languages, and a background in Computer Science or related fields. Technical expertise in API design, payments processing, or blockchains is essential, along with proficiency in system architecture, web3 technologies, API development principles, cloud services, container orchestration, and SQL databases. Commitment to code quality, effective communication, proactive attitude, and the ability to work autonomously are additional attributes to complement your skill set.

Additional Information:

  • Base Pay Range: $172,500 to $227,500
