Job Summary:
This job is for a Staff Software Engineer in the specially curated HeightZero team. The role involves designing and building scalable APIs, libraries, and services for integrating blockchain and BitGo functionalities into HeightZero products. The responsibilities span the end-to-end ownership of features including research, implementation, and deployment. The successful candidate will be instrumental in creating integration libraries and SDKs for interfacing with servers and APIs and documenting functionalities thoroughly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, develop, and optimize APIs, libraries, and services to effectively integrate blockchains and BitGo functions into HeightZero products.
- Lead the aspects of functionality and scalability, from concept and research to implementation and deployment.
- Develop integration libraries and SDKs for communicating with servers and APIs.
- Document and present functionalities for user interface, third-party developers, and internal and external tools.
- Collaborate closely with diverse engineering teams and product managers to ensure uniformity in understanding technical requirements and quality of work.
- Provide mentorship to peers within the wider engineering team through code reviews and education on best practices.
Skills & Experience:
Required:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in full-stack software development.
- Proficiency in React.js, Node.js, and TypeScript.
- Demonstrated discipline, ownership of tasks, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles.
- Proficient in unit and functional testing, debugging, and designing and implementing databases.
- Skilled in creating simple yet extensible abstractions for complex systems.
