Strategy Associate (Business Operations)

Role Overview

We are in search of a Strategy Associate to join the Strategy team at Crypto.com, with a focus on business operations. The ideal candidate should excel in formulating business recommendations through data analysis, possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and be adept at collaborating with internal teams to enhance business processes. This position is Hong Kong-based, with a preference for candidates able to work during Hong Kong business hours.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct analysis on operational business data to pinpoint trends and areas for enhancement, and work with internal teams to implement these improvements.
• Collaborate with the data team to design suitable data dashboards, visualizations, and alerts for operational data.
• Support strategic partnerships by creating pitch decks for partners, engaging in partnership meetings, and coordinating internally to advance and finalize partnerships.
• Provide initial, high-level evaluations of strategic mergers and acquisition opportunities or investments presented to the company, and offer initial recommendations.
• Aid in the execution of other strategic projects by liaising with internal teams or external partners to ensure timely and successful delivery of results.

Required qualifications:

• Possess a Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Based in Hong Kong or able to accommodate Hong Kong working hours (GMT+8).
• Demonstrate a keen interest in the blockchain/crypto industry.
• Preferable 1-3 years of work experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Relevant experience in business operations or business data analysis, drawing applications from diverse fields like consulting (general consultant or supporting staff track), accounting & auditing firms, banking, fintech, etc.
• Well-honed project management skills and a commitment to seeing initiatives through to completion.
• Bonus, although not required, is experience with Tableau, SQL, and/or Python for data analysis.
