Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled professional to fill the Strategy Director position at our company. The chosen individual will be integral in helping us make strategic decisions. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of applicable experience, such as from a strategic consulting background, a deep interest in cryptocurrency, and strong leadership skills. This position is located in Hong Kong, with some flexibility for candidates from other locations who can work in line with Hong Kong time zones.
Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic plans driven by data that align with the company's objectives across various sectors of the crypto and fintech industries.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external collaborators to execute strategic initiatives.
- Offer recommendations on product pricing, including fees and rewards, and monitor profit & loss to ensure sustainable growth, adjusting pricing strategies when needed.
- Conduct data analysis on user and product metrics, identify patterns or gaps, and suggest enhancements.
- Support with strategic alliances and investments when necessary.
- Supervise and guide junior members of the strategy team.
- Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and a "founder’s mentality."
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher education.
- Based in Hong Kong or able to adhere to Hong Kong office hours (GMT+8).
- Keen interest in blockchain and cryptocurrency, with a solid understanding of DeFi considered a significant advantage.
- Candidates should ideally have 5-7 years of experience in a related field (e.g., management consulting) and possess team management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Tableau, SQL, and/or Python for data analysis is a bonus.
