Role Overview
We are on the lookout for a Strategy Director to become part of our team, aiding us in crucial strategic decision-making processes. The perfect candidate will bring 5-7 years of relevant experience, such as from strategy consulting. They should have a strong passion for the crypto industry and possess excellent leadership skills. This position is situated in Hong Kong, although applicants from other locations with flexibility for Hong Kong working hours are welcome.
Responsibilities:
- Create data-driven strategic plans that align with company objectives across various sectors within the crypto and fintech industries.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners to execute strategic initiatives successfully.
- Provide recommendations on product pricing, including fees and rewards, and monitor profit and loss to ensure sustainable growth or adjust pricing strategies accordingly.
- Conduct data analysis on users and products, identify trends or gaps, and suggest enhancements.
- Assist in strategic partnerships and investment decisions when necessary.
- Supervise and mentor junior members within the strategy team.
- Display strong ownership and a “founder’s mentality” as a role model.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Residency in Hong Kong or the ability to work according to Hong Kong time (GMT+8).
- Keen interest in the blockchain and crypto sphere, with notable DeFi knowledge considered a significant advantage.
- Prefer candidates with 5-7 years of experience in relevant industries (e.g., management consulting) and a history of team management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with Tableau, SQL, and/or Python for data analysis is a bonus skill.
