Role Overview
We are in need of a Strategy Director to join our team and hold a vital position in assisting us with key strategic choices. The successful candidate should have 5-7 years of pertinent experience, such as in strategy consulting, exhibit a strong interest in crypto, and possess effective leadership skills. This position is based in Hong Kong but applicants from other locations are welcome as long as they can adhere to Hong Kong working hours.
Responsibilities:
- Formulate data-driven strategic plans aligned with the company's objectives for various sectors within the crypto and general fintech industries.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external collaborators to execute strategic projects efficiently.
- Provide recommendations on product pricing, oversee profit and loss activities to ensure sustainable growth, and adjust pricing strategies when needed.
- Conduct data analysis on users and products, pinpoint trends or deficiencies, and propose enhancements.
- Assist in strategic partnerships and investment endeavors when required.
- Supervise and mentor junior members of the strategy team.
- Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and a founder’s mindset.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher education.
- Located in Hong Kong or capable of accommodating Hong Kong working hours.
- Intense interest in the blockchain and crypto sphere, with solid knowledge of DeFi considered advantageous.
- Preferably, candidates should boast 5-7 years of experience in a relevant field (e.g., management consulting) and have prior team management experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with Tableau, SQL, and/or Python for data analysis is advantageous but not mandatory.
