Strategy Director (Hong Kong based)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Strategy Director to join the company and take on a fundamental role in making crucial strategic decisions. The ideal candidate should possess 5-7 years of relevant work experience, potentially from strategy consulting, a strong interest in crypto, and be adept at leadership. This position is based in Hong Kong, with flexibility for candidates from other locations who can adjust to Hong Kong working hours.

Responsibilities:

• Develop data-driven strategic plans that align with the company's objectives in various sectors of the crypto and fintech industries.
• Collaborate efficiently with internal teams and external partners to execute strategic initiatives.
• Provide recommendations on product pricing, monitoring profits and losses to ensure sustainable growth, and adapt pricing strategies as needed.
• Conduct data analysis on users and products, pinpoint trends or opportunities for improvement.
• Support strategic partnerships and investment opportunities when appropriate.
• Oversee and guide junior members of the strategy team.
• Serve as a model of taking ownership and demonstrating a "founder’s mentality."

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher education.
• Reside in Hong Kong or capable of adhering to Hong Kong working hours (GMT+8).
• Strong enthusiasm for the blockchain/crypto sector, with knowledge of DeFi considered a valuable asset.
• Preference for candidates with 5-7 years of relevant work experience, potentially in management consulting, and experience in team management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• (Beneficial but not mandatory) Familiarity with Tableau, SQL, and/or Python for data analysis.
