We are looking for a SAR Investigator to aid our compliance expansion into global markets and assist in reviewing suspicious activities to maintain compliance with regulations and internal policies.
Responsibilities:
- Review and manage assigned cases promptly and provide guidance to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain escalation and client off-boarding logs, supporting necessary processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance the quality of reports and ensure accuracy.
- Utilize compliance programs such as Chainalysis, TRM, Elliptic, and World-Check effectively.
- Stay updated on local laws and regulations, especially regarding virtual currencies.
- Engage in AML/CFT programs and other necessary activities related to daily tasks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Legal, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in investigations, SAR filings, or regulatory affairs in financial institutions or fintech companies.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and navigate ambiguity effectively.
- Strong attention to detail, proactive nature, and high standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical, and time management skills.
- Fluency in English, additional languages a plus.
