Systematic Trader
The Trading team endeavors to create and manage quantitative trading strategies within prediction markets, equity markets, and crypto markets, encompassing spot and derivatives. An opportunity for an adept Systematic Trader has arisen to craft, execute, and enhance systematic strategies in rapidly evolving electronic markets.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and oversee systematic trading strategies and frameworks across prediction markets, equities, and crypto, spanning spot, perpetuals, futures, options, and other derivatives.
- Monitor real-time trading, Profit & Loss (P&L), positions, risk, and execution performance.
- Research, backtest, deploy, and enhance systematic trading strategies.
- Recognize new trading prospects across various markets, products, exchanges, and venues.
- Evaluate strategy and execution performance, involving fills, slippage, adverse selection, transaction costs, and latency.
- Refine strategy parameters, position sizing, execution, and risk controls.
- Collaborate closely with quantitative developers and researchers to implement new strategies and enhance trading systems.
- Participate in local trading coverage and rotating weekend coverage.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in systematic, quantitative, electronic, proprietary, or market-making trading.
- Demonstrated proficiency in developing, operating, or optimizing profitable trading strategies.
- Thorough comprehension of market microstructure, execution, and risk management.
- Proficient in Python programming and quantitative data analysis.
- Background in working with large market and trading datasets; preferably, experience in SQL.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to take charge in dynamic markets.
- Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline, or equivalent quantitative experience.
Preferred:
- Experience in trading in prediction markets, equities, or crypto markets.
- Familiarity with market making, statistical arbitrage, relative value, arbitrage, or other systematic strategies.
- Exposure to exchange APIs, order-book or tick-level data, automated execution, or real-time trading systems.
- Knowledge of C++ is advantageous.
Salary Range: $120,000 - $200,000 per year
