Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical design and execution of core banking systems using Golang or Ruby on Rails.
  • Establish the groundwork for our digital banking platform, encompassing payment networks, account management, and transaction processing.
  • Develop secure and scalable banking APIs complying with Open API specifications.
  • Collaborate with compliance teams for robust implementation of KYC/AML systems and processes.
  • Implement data reporting mechanisms meeting regulatory standards and business intelligence requirements.
  • Design and execute financial treasury processes, FX exchange capabilities, and crediting systems.
  • Direct the team in integrating with payment networks and banking partners.
  • Ensure all systems meet banking regulations and security thresholds.
  • Build, mentor, and manage engineering teams, offering career growth and performance guidance.
  • Uphold engineering excellence via best practices, code reviews, and continual enhancement.
  • Supervise project timelines, resource allocation, and technical delivery.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of software development experience, with at least 5 years in the financial technology sector.
  • A minimum of 3 years of people management experience overseeing engineering teams of 5+ developers.
  • Proficiency in Golang or Ruby on Rails.
  • Demonstrated background in building and scaling banking or financial services platforms.
  • In-depth knowledge of banking operations, payment networks, and financial systems.
  • Experience implementing KYC/AML solutions and compliance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with data security practices specific to financial institutions.
  • Exposure to treasury management systems, FX exchange, and crediting systems.
  • Profound understanding of RESTful APIs and Open API specifications.
  • Experience with microservices architecture and cloud-native applications.

  • Familiarity with blockchain or distributed ledger technologies in financial applications.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
