As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the productivity, happiness, and growth of the team. You will work with the technical lead to set and oversee team goals and contribute to the infrastructure strategy. Experience with decentralized systems, blockchain, Golang, cloud infrastructure, and Kubernetes is expected for this role.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set clear team objectives and ensure everyone understands and embraces them
- Provide leadership, management, and technical vision for the software engineering team
- Mentor and support engineers in their growth and development, providing timely feedback and growth plans
- Remove obstacles and blockers to allow the team to perform at their best
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of experience in project or program management, preferably in startups, with a proven track record of successful projects
- At least 2 years of experience leading or managing SWE/SRE teams and a total of 5+ years of engineering experience
- Ability to mentor both junior and senior engineers
- Experience with modern infrastructure and previous work as an SWE/SRE engineer
- Experience managing remote teams and coordinating across time zones
- Strong passion for blockchain, MachineFi, and the future of Web3
