** Technical Content Writer**

Role Summary

As a Technical Content Writer for the Oasis Foundation, you will be responsible for creating and refining content. You will work within the Communications circle of the Marketing & Community team, reporting to the Communications Lead.

Your tasks will include shaping Oasis's messaging, writing for the blog, composing Op-Eds for top-tier crypto publications, and supporting social media content. Collaboration with another Content Writer, the Marketing & Community team, and external agencies will be essential.

Operating across various projects, you will advocate for a user-centric and data-informed approach to content creation and social media, focusing on the BUIDLERs and HODLERs target audiences.

This role is remote and accessible to candidates in North America and Western Europe, with biannual in-person team meetings.

Key responsibilities

  • Produce top-quality blog posts and Op-Eds, ensuring consistent branding and messaging for diverse audiences.
  • Help generate diverse media content like videos, photography, and podcasts.
  • Enhance brand messaging, thought leadership, and content creation based on data insights for target audiences.
  • Collaborate on Inbound Marketing campaigns with the Marketing & Community team using an SEO-focused content strategy.
  • Assist in an international content strategy targeting English-speaking regions.
  • Create Op-Eds to enhance brand visibility with support from internal and external resources.
  • Support social media content curation.
  • Proactively assist dApps within the Oasis ecosystem and external partners.
  • Develop ongoing content initiatives like webinars, podcasts, collaborations, and advertorials.
  • Produce Op-Eds for designated spokespersons across owned and earned platforms.
  • Enhance engagement with tier 1 publications in partnership with PR freelancers.
  • Write blogs showcasing leadership in blockchain privacy and key verticals such as DeFi, gaming, DAO governance, AI, and technical topics like Account Abstraction, TEEs vs ZK, Intents, and more.
  • Ensure Communications alignment with Growth, Events, Branding, and Community teams within the Marketing & Community division, leveraging data-driven insights.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Business Development, and Operations for cohesive campaigns and User Experience.
  • Contribute to employer branding initiatives alongside HR.
  • Regularly report insights to the broader Marketing team and the Oasis Foundation Board.

Must have skills and attributes

  • 4+ years of copywriting and editing for renowned publications.
  • 3+ years of content creation with blockchain/Web3 projects.
  • Exceptional copywriting skills and proficiency in spoken English.
  • Experience in data-driven content creation, particularly SEO strategies.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and service-focused approach to work.
  • Deep interest in Crypto, Blockchain, DeFi, Privacy, AI.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in remote team collaboration.

Desirable skills

  • Familiarity with ZK Proofs or other privacy-related technologies.
  • Knowledgeable about DeFi and Gaming dApps.
  • Comfort using decentralized tools like Metamask and DEXs.
