Technical Project Manager
Responsibilities
- Manage complex and large-scale cross-team, cross-functional technology initiatives.
- Coordinate with development teams to estimate work efforts, define milestones, and allocate resources effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams from design to deployment to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Track progress, address dependencies, evaluate risks, and provide regular updates to management and stakeholders.
- Design and analyze metrics related to project goals, making data-driven decisions when necessary.
- Align technology initiatives with business objectives and maintain a balance between technical and business priorities.
- Develop and maintain documentation tailored for various audiences, such as production support playbooks and API documentation.
- Enhance deployment processes and support knowledge sharing within the team.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in project or program management within a software applications environment.
- Strong grasp of software development, architecture, and infrastructure.
- Familiarity with Waterfall and Agile methodologies, experience as a Scrum Master is advantageous.
- Skilled in communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple business units.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to unite diverse groups towards shared objectives.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with mentoring experience considered a plus.
- Proficient in conducting meetings, summarizing documents, and establishing processes and automation.
- Ability to facilitate knowledge discovery and guide teams in presenting information to different audiences.
- Fluency in English required, Mandarin and Cantonese proficiency is desirable.
- Experience with JIRA/Confluence.
- Preferred certifications: PMP, CSM, PSM, ACP.
