Responsibilities:
- Manage technology risks within our organization, overseeing aspects such as governance, architecture, and planning in compliance with our Risk Management Framework.
- Serve as the primary contact for technology teams, guiding them in identifying, assessing, monitoring, and addressing technology-related risks.
- Conduct periodic control tests to evaluate the effectiveness of risk mitigation measures and provide guidance to enhance risk management practices.
- Stay abreast of the evolving technology risk landscape, conduct awareness sessions, ensure proper risk reporting procedures are followed, and support in aligning IT risk governance with business objectives.
- Participate in risk and control assessments, monitor incidents, engage in audit activities as required, and collaborate with senior management to integrate risk management processes across the organization.
Requirements:
- Possess 5-10 years of experience in financial services or financial technology with expertise in managing risk and control activities and a strong grasp of non-financial risk management.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of Technology risks, especially those related to software development, and have familiarity with engineering standards and IT practices.
- Exhibit the ability to comprehend end-to-end risks, implement control frameworks, and facilitate seamless risk management practices.
- Display a proactive approach to working in a dynamic environment, showcasing leadership qualities and taking ownership of assigned responsibilities.
