About the Role:
We are currently seeking a Trader to join our team during an exciting period of growth and exploration of new revenue streams. This is a unique opportunity for individuals with experience in high-frequency trading in traditional markets to transition into the dynamic global cryptocurrency market. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a major trading book, addressing operational and trading issues in real-time
- Identify opportunities for trading edge through market and trading analysis
- Collaborate with trading and middle office teams to ensure accurate trade booking and reconciliation
- Coordinate with exchange counterparts on various trade-related matters
- Contribute to enhancing existing trading strategies and developing new ones
- Engage in idea generation, strategy formulation, and back-testing
- Solve complex cryptocurrency derivative pricing challenges
- Develop automation tools and models for daily tasks
- Utilize proprietary back-testing and simulation tools
- Explore and assess cryptocurrency market products to align with trading strategies
Requirements:
- Experience in high-frequency trading with strong quantitative skills
- Proficiency in designing, testing, and coding trading strategies
- Capable of contributing to risk management system design and improvement
- Proficient in Python (or equivalent languages) for coding
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in relevant disciplines like Math, Computer Science, Statistics, Quantitative Sciences, or Engineering
