Description
The team for Quant Trading is accountable for trading and risk management of various crypto products, consisting of spots and derivatives, by developing and executing trading strategies in dynamic and intricate trading settings.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete design, development, and implementation of trading platform/data platform components
- Collaborate closely with traders, operations, and developers to enhance existing models, analytics, algorithms, and strategies
- Engage in code auditing, testing, and release processes
- Establish a quickly deployable system with automated testing, continuous integration, and delivery capabilities
- Identify and resolve backend infrastructure and platform issues
- Analyze and troubleshoot cross-stack problems
- Work collaboratively with diverse teams to automate and refine trading, reconciliation, and analytic workflows
Requirements:
- Possess at least 5 years of professional programming experience in Java
- Previous experience in Investment Banks, Hedge Funds, or Exchanges developing trading applications in Equity, FX, or Derivative products is preferred
- Familiarity with TDD methodology and expertise in automated testing
- Strong attention to detail, a proactive attitude towards improvement, and a sense of responsibility to tasks
- Willingness to tackle challenges and enthusiastic about learning
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, quick learning capabilities, and adaptability to changing priorities in a fast-paced industry
- Solid grasp of system design, data structures, and algorithms
