Ideal Candidate:

We are seeking an experienced trading and investment operations professional who is passionate about cryptocurrency and digital assets. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in trading support within financial institutions, hedge funds, or administrators, with a desire to contribute to Galaxy's trading and investment operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Galaxy Asset Management's trading and investment operations.
• Collaborate across various business units in a fast-paced trading environment.
• Manage trade lifecycle tasks, including trade capture, settlement, and reporting.
• Perform daily reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Establish and document operational procedures, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
• Identify operational control gaps and propose process enhancements.
• Lead onboarding of service providers such as trading counterparties and custodians.
• Assist in operational due diligence matters.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in middle office operations.
• Proficiency in various financial product trade life cycles.
• Hands-on experience in trade settlements, reconciliation, and client servicing.
• Knowledge of accounting and reconciliation systems.
• Strong project management skills with a focus on process optimization.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional work ethic and ability to multitask.
• Team player with effective communication skills.
• Familiarity with digital assets and blockchain technology.

Desired Skills:

• Hands-on experience with derivative products and risk management.
• Background in quantitative analysis.
• Proficiency in programming languages like VBA, Python, or scripting.
