We are in search of an adept individual with strong analytical and technical skills to drive the enhancement of our trading infrastructure. This multifaceted role combines the dynamic execution of a Trading Operations Specialist, the analytical precision of a Risk Manager, and the technical proficiencies of an AI-focused Developer.
The ideal candidate will not only oversee the day-to-day operational processes and risk assessment but also lead the digital advancement of these functions. You will utilize Large Language Models (LLMs), machine learning, and advanced scripting to automate outdated manual procedures, enhance predictive risk analysis, and craft real-time P&L visualization tools.
Main Responsibilities:
Trading Operations and Profit & Loss (P&L) Analysis with AI
Manage all stages of trades across various asset classes. Develop autonomous AI workflows using Python (ML) to automate manual tasks and reconciliations
Conduct daily P&L analysis and explain discrepancies by dissecting market trends, Greeks, and new activities. Harness AI/ML frameworks to create intelligent agents for anomaly detection in trade data and generate automated commentary for P&L reports
Ensure data accuracy throughout the trading systems, middle-office platforms, and downstream finance ledgers
Risk Monitoring & Control
Smart Risk Management: Build real-time AI-infused risk models using machine learning to anticipate market volatility and notify the desk of potential cross-market risks
Construct and maintain advanced risk reporting dashboards for the trading desk
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Over 5 years in front-office operations, quantitative development, or a mix of risk management and systems architecture in a financial setting
- Technical Skills: Expertise in Python (for AI/ML) and proficient in SQL. Previous experience in developing autonomous AI workflows is highly advantageous
- Financial Insight: Thorough comprehension of P&L attribution, financial oversight, market risk metrics (Greeks, VaR), financial markets, and various financial products
- Problem-Solving: Adopt a systematic approach to operations, considering every manual task as a challenge that warrants an automated solution
- Adaptability: Thrive in a demanding environment, willing to work extended hours (e.g., 60-70/week) to satisfy global trading requirements
- Flexibility: Ready to engage in a rotational weekend and be on-call 24/7, ensuring swift resolution to live production challenges
