Your Key Responsibilities

In alignment with our strategic shift towards a broader spectrum of payment markets, we are looking for an accomplished individual as the VP of Payment Markets to support our expansion into new payment use cases and drive network adoption. This role will involve strategizing and executing initiatives to transition Notabene's transaction authorization platform into the realm of payment markets, focusing on enhancing network growth and adoption levels.

Primary Duties

• Formulate and implement strategies to penetrate new opportunities within the payment markets.
• Cultivate partnerships with diverse blockchain ecosystems, including L1s, L2s, and DeFi protocols.
• Collaborate with providers of self-hosted wallets and hosted wallet API services.
• Develop and refine pricing packages for products tailored to payment-oriented use.
• Establish crucial partnerships with key infrastructure providers.
• Facilitate marketplace engagement through strategic go-to-market approaches.
• Build productive relationships and promote collaboration among ecosystem stakeholders.
• Design and rollout marketplace incentives to drive adoption and foster network effects.
• Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to create solutions aligned with the needs of payment markets.
• Validate market potential through hands-on practices within the initial six months.
• Construct a viable business case to drive team expansion and expedite product development.

Preferred Qualifications

• Mindful needs and industry developments within assorted blockchain ecosystem segments.
• Ability to scale payment networks or platforms effectively.
• Proven track record in forging and executing strategic partnerships.
• Well-developed communication skills and adept at managing stakeholders.
• Proficiency in both traditional financial sectors and crypto/blockchain domains.
• Geographically based in Europe or the US East Coast.

Advantageous Qualifications

• Existing strong alliances with protocol foundations, wallet providers, and stablecoin creators.
• Insight into emerging trends in stablecoin-based payments and their global market impacts.
• Past experience navigating regulatory frameworks concerning crypto payment solutions.
• Preferred locations include London, New York, Zurich, or Berlin.
