We are seeking an experienced Stablecoins Product Manager to lead the development, expansion, and scaling of stablecoin products tailored for institutional use. This role calls for shaping the product strategy for stablecoin applications across various verticals. Collaboration with engineering, banking, compliance, legal, and go-to-market teams is crucial for the seamless delivery of robust, regulated stablecoin infrastructure.
Role Overview:
- Conceptualize and drive the product vision and roadmap for Anchorage Digital's stablecoin solutions targeted towards institutional clients, ensuring product scalability and adaptability to their requirements.
- Work closely with the engineering team to develop secure, compliant stablecoin products, settlement mechanisms, fiat-to-stablecoin conversion, and liquidity management procedures.
- Partner with compliance, legal, risk, and banking groups to integrate regulatory specifications directly into product design.
- Adapt to client feedback, regional market dynamics, and regulatory updates to inform strategic product decisions effectively.
Required Technical Proficiencies:
- Demonstrated expertise in managing financial products designed for banks and regulated institutions.
- In-depth knowledge of API design principles and payment rails (such as ACH, RTP, Fedwire) for high-value payment and settlement systems.
- Proven experience in shaping API and data model design in collaboration with engineering, prioritizing security, resilience, and auditability.
- Ability to establish technical standards for authentication, permissions, rate limits, versioning, and backward compatibility.
- Proficiency in SQL or scripting languages (e.g., Python, Node) for automating workflows and conducting data analysis.
- Robust understanding of fiat rails, FX and on/off-ramps, reconciliation, settlement timing, and interdependencies between fiat conversions, stablecoins, and treasury activities.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of product management background, with a predominant focus on banking, financial products, payments, FX, or capital markets.
- Proven track record of owning intricate, regulated financial products from ideation to execution.
- Extensive familiarity with stablecoins, institutional payments, FX, and treasury workflows.
- Strong analytical and systems-level thinking skills, adept at balancing regulatory, technical, and commercial constraints.
- Sound understanding of U.S. clearing systems, payment networks, and messaging systems - encompassing guidelines, restrictions, permissible use cases, and future roadmaps.
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders effectively, notwithstanding direct authority.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous roles involving collaboration with banks, payment service providers, or clearing and settlement networks.
- Exposure to blockchain-driven settlement solutions, digital assets, or tokenized money.
- Interest in AI-driven product development approaches and tools.
- Acquaintance with regulatory frameworks governing stablecoins in the U.S. and global markets.
- Experience working alongside sales or coverage teams while upholding clear product ownership.
