We are seeking a Business Development Manager well-versed in Web3, Decentralized Finance, and blockchain technology to oversee the APAC region. This role entails spearheading regional relationships and advancing our public blockchain ecosystem, Horizen, and the Ethereum Virtual Machine, Horizen EON. In 2024, our key focus includes collaborations involving Zero Knowledge proof technology within Ethereum and Bitcoin blockchain scaling and decentralized applications space. Your primary responsibilities will involve securing new integrations and mutually beneficial partnerships within the Web3 sector in the APAC region. Engaging with Web3 protocols and developers, you will play a crucial role in expanding our public ecosystem, Horizen. The ideal candidate should possess strategic thinking, business development acumen, and a strong commitment to elevating Horizen Labs as a prime blockchain hub for leading protocols and applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive Integration Success: Lead partnerships and integrations for Horizen Labs’ products, prioritizing the growth of Horizen EON and the ZK Proof Verification chain performance indicators.
  • Strategic Insights: Initiate discussions with potential partners, explore Web3 trends, and deliver key insights to product and marketing teams.
  • Solution Development: Collaborate across teams to craft tailored blockchain solutions with clear ROI propositions.
  • Negotiation Support: Work with various departments to propose partnerships, support deal closure procedures, and oversee ongoing partner relationships.
  • Client Relationship Management: Support current partners in enhancing their experience with Horizen Labs, ensuring their goals are met and identifying areas for product enhancement.
  • Process Enhancement: Refine our business development approach for optimal growth and achievement of company objectives.

Requirements:

  • Background in Web3 and Decentralized Finance sectors, proficient in utilizing protocols, social platforms, and research resources.
  • 5 years of experience in technology sales, business development, or partnerships specifically in the APAC region, with a proven track record of achievements.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building abilities, with existing contacts among potential partners.
  • Enthusiasm for blockchain technology, DeFi applications, and elements of Web3 ecosystem.
  • Decisiveness, action-oriented mindset, and adaptability.
  • Proficiency in technology tools such as Google Workspace, Excel, and Powerpoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating complex concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Curiosity, creativity, and a humble approach to problem-solving.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with crypto environments, including meme coins, airdrops, and DeFi trends.
