Summary
Brave is seeking a seasoned Senior Software Engineer specialized in blockchain integrations for the Brave Wallet. In this role, you will collaborate with product designers, developers, and privacy/security experts to enhance our wallet functionality significantly.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the backend team to enhance components in our wallet libraries.
- Implement new features in brave-core to facilitate live data linkage by the front-end team.
- Stay updated on protocol upgrades and investigate blockchain edge case bugs.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in application development.
- Proficient in C++ development; knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript is a bonus.
- History of contributing to open-source projects.
- Understanding of blockchain protocols like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and DeFi ecosystem is advantageous.
- Familiarity with cryptocurrency wallet mechanics and UX.
- Experience in distributed software development.
- Proficient in working within an open-source environment.
- Strong dedication to user privacy and security.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
