The chosen candidate for the Windows Systems Engineer role will be responsible for overseeing IT projects, designing, implementing, and maintaining Windows and Azure-based systems to meet the technological demands of the organization. Essential duties include selecting software solutions, offering technical support, troubleshooting issues, ensuring smooth system operations, and collaborating closely with other IT professionals to optimize technology usage in line with organizational goals and objectives.

Technologies utilized include extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Product Suite, PowerShell Scripting, Group Policy Management, DFS, MS Failover Clustering, as well as familiarity with Ivanti Systems, IAM experience, VMware Dynamic Endpoint Manager, VMware End User Computing administration, ActiveBatch automations, and Change Management processes. The role also involves project management responsibilities, fostering innovative long-term solutions, meeting established targets and SLAs, top-notch communication skills, customer-centric approach, and adaptability to emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage Windows and Azure-based IT systems to ensure optimal performance and security while meeting business requirements.
  • Meticulously maintain IT core infrastructure, monitor system health and performance, configure settings, implement security measures, and ensure up-to-date system patches and updates.
  • Facilitate seamless integration of business systems, create scripted and automated solutions for process streamlining, and oversee projects from initiation to completion.
  • Conduct system upgrades and maintenance, analyze performance for enhancement opportunities, provide technical support, and ensure comprehensive documentation of IT systems.

Qualifications for Success:

  • 5+ years of professional experience required, bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, self-motivated, well-organized, methodical, and strong communicator with fluency in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Product Suite, PowerShell Scripting, Group Policy Management, DFS, and MS Failover Clustering.

In terms of compensation, salaries are based on reliable market research and may vary based on factors such as experience, location, and skill set. Employees share in the company's success through annual discretionary variable remuneration based on performance and contribution. The total compensation for this role in NYC is a base salary of $120,000 to $150,000 plus annual variable remuneration.
