Token Metrics is in search of an innovative individual to fill the role of X/Twitter Social Media Manager – X (formerly Twitter) to enhance engagement, foster community growth, and share brand stories on a rapidly evolving platform. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to influence the global audience of crypto traders, investors, and enthusiasts.
Job Purpose: The Social Media Manager will be responsible for managing and expanding the company's presence on X/Twitter by developing impactful, consistent content, interacting with the community, and utilizing platform trends to increase visibility. The successful candidate will play a vital role in enhancing user engagement, establishing thought leadership, and raising awareness within the crypto and fintech sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive X/Twitter content strategy.
- Craft original tweets, threads, and real-time content to align with trends and crypto news cycles.
- Monitor and engage with the community, industry influencers, and key figures.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, research) to ensure messaging consistency.
- Analyze metrics regularly and optimize content performance.
- Establish a unique brand voice that resonates authentically with the crypto community.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of social media experience, particularly focused on X/Twitter.
- Demonstrated expertise in crypto or financial trading with exceptional writing abilities and meme fluency.
- Proficiency in tools such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or X Pro.
- Strong grasp of analytics and KPIs essential for social media success.
- Ability to think quickly, adapt, and create content in real-time, including daily posts on trends.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the crypto, Web3, or financial services sectors.
- Background in journalism, content creation, or community building.
