Community Calendar Manager / Content Curator
Community Calendar Manager / Content Curator (Remote, Part-Time)
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Community Calendar Manager to keep our website's events calendar fresh, accurate, and engaging. In this role, you will monitor designated websites, online communities, and social media channels to discover upcoming events and add them directly into our platform.
This is a flexible, remote, part-time contractor position requiring approximately 5 to 10 hours per week. Because staying current is critical to our audience, tasks should be completed daily or every other day rather than all at once at the end of the week.
Key Responsibilities
Your main duties include researching, gathering, and vetting upcoming events from target websites and social feeds, entering complete event listings into our website platform with accurate dates, times, descriptions, and source links, and checking channels regularly every 1 to 2 days to ensure no major announcements are missed.
Qualifications
Candidates must have full professional fluency in English with exceptional written communication skills and a strong cultural familiarity with the United States. Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, high attention to detail, and reliable internet access are essential. Comfort with receiving compensation in cryptocurrency is also required. Please note that English proficiency and cultural familiarity will be assessed directly during the initial interview call.
Compensation and Contract Details
Compensation is set at $100 per week, paid weekly in Bitcoin (BTC). The estimated weekly commitment is approximately 5 to 10 hours. This contract begins with an initial 3-month duration, with potential for extension up to 1 year based on performance and ongoing project needs.
How to Apply
To apply, please submit a brief introduction detailing your background, any relevant experience managing online calendars or content curation, and your general weekly availability. Qualified applicants will be invited to a short video call to discuss the role and next steps.
