Data Operations & Product Engineer
We're seeking a hands-on, solutions-oriented team member to join our tech startup at a pivotal moment—our May 2026 launch. In this unique role, you'll be at the intersection of product development, data operations, and user experience, directly shaping how our users interact with our platform.
What You'll Do:
During our launch phase and beyond, you'll work directly with new users to handle and streamline data entry into our app, turning these interactions into valuable insights. As you assist users with onboarding their data—whether it's converting Excel spreadsheets and image folders, scraping PDFs, or importing large databases (like food product catalogs)—you'll identify friction points, gather feedback, and rapidly iterate on solutions.
You'll have the autonomy to design and build intelligent data import tools using our MERN stack, with a strong emphasis on leveraging AI to automate and optimize workflows. Your work will directly inform product development, ensuring our data entry experience scales beautifully as we grow.
What We're Looking For:
Experience with UX concepts
Creative problem-solver who can identify inefficiencies and build solutions
Excited about AI tools and automation opportunities
Strong communication skills for gathering user feedback and translating it into product improvements
Detail-oriented but moves fast—startup energy required
Comfort with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) and building practical tools would be a huge plus
