Cryptocurrency research analyst
We are looking for a cryptocurrency market analyst with a documented portfolio in decentralized finance (DeFi), yield farming, cryptocurrency lending, and cryptocurrency trading.
To be an ideal candidate, you should have a technical understanding of Proof of Work (PoW) and Proof of Stake (PoS) cryptocurrencies along with the ability to perform high-level data analysis. You will be responsible for growing our portfolio of cryptocurrency investments.
You will focus on fundamental analysis with the goal of identifying new opportunities in decentralized finance (DeFi), non fungible tokens (NFT) and Web3 tokenomics.
What You Will Do
* Hunt, find, track down new/undervalued crypto projects for possible investment opportunities.
* Assess business and cryptocurrency valuations.
* Calculate risks and research new opportunities for crypto investments.
* Monitoring market trends and investment portfolios.
* Utilise the latest research tools to accelerate go-to market strategies.
* Analyse and predict trends, pricing ,demand and trading volumes of various cryptocurrencies.
* Help design and maintain proper KPIs for our portfolio of investments and opportunities in our watch-list.
* Use technical, fundamental, and quantitative analysis to inform your opinions and be able to produce high-quality content very quickly to keep up with the fast pace of the cryptocurrency market.
Essential Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in finance, quantitative analysis, investment banking, or accounting.
* At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
* Exceptional research and analytical skills and advanced proficiency in Excel.
* Well-versed in the cryptocurrency industry and proven ability to effectively research and assess the latest projects.
* Thorough understanding of financial analysis and investment strategy.
* Strong eye for detail and a proactive methodology for finding investment opportunities.
* Interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure.
* A team player who can work independently and fluent English communicator.
* Passionate and up-to-date on the rapidly changing world of blockchain technology.
* Self-driven with the ability to deliver results with minimal supervision.
