I’m looking for a talented video editor to produce five short documentary-style “faceless” videos for YouTube Shorts. This is a one-time assignment, but strong performance could lead to ongoing work on future projects. What You’ll Do • Edit five short videos based on provided scripts • Craft a documentary-style visual narrative using stock footage and creative editing choices • Produce either AI or human voiceover for each video • Add motion graphics, transitions, and subtitles when they enhance the story • Deliver engaging, high-retention short-form videos optimized for YouTube Shorts • Provide final files in 9:16 format, ready for upload Who We’re Looking For • Experience editing YouTube Shorts, TikToks, or Reels • Strong sense of pacing and visual storytelling without on-camera footage • Ability to choose fitting stock visuals and sound design with minimal direction • Proficiency in standard editing software (Premiere, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, etc.) • Ability to deliver within a 4-day timeline Project Details • One-off project: five videos • Voiceover is part of the editing responsibilities • Creative freedom in visual style, subtitles, and stock footage selection • Opportunity to develop a long-term working relationship based on results How to Apply • Send 2–4 examples of short-form work, preferably documentary-style or faceless edits • Share your typical turnaround time and availability • Include your rate for this five-video project • Mention any voiceover tools or approach you prefer (AI or human)
