Description
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure high availability for multiple production systems
- Provide Level 1 and 2 application support for trading, data processing, and IT operations
- Participate in weekend and holiday support on a rotational basis
- Manage and address incidents and requests promptly
- Monitor critical system alerts, perform initial diagnostics, and escalate when necessary
- Act as a major incident manager during critical incidents
- Conduct system operation and administration tasks, including performance monitoring
- Collaborate with internal users and external vendors to resolve production system issues
- Implement system enhancements and bug fixes with engineering teams
- Adhere to SLA and OLA requirements
- Manage incident, change, and response management processes, including writing RCA reports
- Create and maintain knowledge articles and enhance the team's knowledge base
- Provide support during non-office hours in emergency situations
- Coordinate between product and development teams for effective service delivery
Job Requirements
- Demonstrate strong self-discipline, responsibility, and integrity
- Display a keen interest in crypto technology and financial environments
- Possess 3-5 years of experience in application support within a fintech background
- Exhibit strong teamwork skills and the ability to manage tasks proactively with minimal supervision
- Preferred Technical Skills:
- Experience in supporting applications in Linux and cloud computing environments
- Familiarity with basic Linux commands
- Knowledge of ITIL V3/4 framework is advantageous
- Understanding of AWS/Kubernetes is a bonus
- Proficiency in Redis, log queries, automations/AI is beneficial
- Experience with monitoring systems such as Datadog, NewRelic, Kubernetes, etc.
- Proficiency in Cloud Computing, AWS, Microservices Architecture, Unix, and Linux Systems
- Familiarity with any scripting languages is a plus
